Milestone

1973
Established Salotto Limited in Hong Kong.
Originally established as a home furnishing business mainly importing loose furniture from Italy. Over the years Salotto widened the portfolio including high-end brands from European and North American countries.

1992
Salotto signed an agreement with product designer Chris Sykes and became the licensee for the panel system ELEMENT for Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan.
Production facility in Taiwan was established.

1993
Set up branch office in Foshan to facilitate business in China.

1994
Relocation of the production facility to Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China
Salotto continued the production of ELEMENT as well as expanding other furniture system ranges, such as STAND, LINK, DIVISIONS and other furniture items.

1997
Opening of the Shanghai office

2001
Opening of the Beijing office

2006
Relocation of the factory in Dongguan into a new premises
Manufacturing area increased by 10 folds since the first establishment in 1994.
We dedicated ourselves of providing better and faster services, as well as expanding our assortment of custom-designed furniture ranges for offices and retail shops.

2008
Establishment of Salotto for 35 years,
Our quality assurance process is officially ISO9001:2000 certified.
Extension of shop fixture section.

2009
Salotto is officially FSC-COC certified.
Our environmental management system is officially ISO14001:2004 certified.

2010
Salotto is officially OHSAS 18001:2007 certified.
Our quality assurance process is ISO9001:2008 updated.
