Established since 1994.
At Salotto, innovation and quality take charge. Leading the way in the
design and creation of office furniture, we are dedicated to offering
only the best quality at outstanding value for money. In collaboration
with British Designer Chris Sykes, our factory in Guangdong designs and
manufactures a comprehensive range of office furnishings and fittings
for contemporary and classic settings.
The factory is situated by the riverside of Wang Jiang District at
Dongguan City in the Guangdong Province. It has a production area of
12,000 m2 that can house 400 workers, and 5,400 m2 for office and staff
hostel. We provide our workers a comfortable recreational campus. We
also take pride in providing a safe, hygienic and healthy environment
for our workers.
The factory is a modern wood working and aluminum fabrication plant. We
employ technologically advanced machinery such as the computer numeric
control (cnc) machines to work on wood panels and worktops to produce
in exact forms, shapes and sizes that adapt to individual customer¡¦s
needs.
Most of the metal parts are manufactured outside the factory by our
contract partners who work exclusively for Salotto on our products.
It is essential that our customers perceive Salotto as a
solution-provider and a reliable partner. We work as direct as possible
with our customers in providing design creations and solutions. This
requires high level of professional people, where quality is more
important than quantity. In 2008, our quality assurance process is
officially ISO9001:2000 certified.
Equally important, we have a high regard for our Earth. We are an
energy saver such that we employ the solar energy heating system to
supply hot water. We pursue our environment policy on ¡V
¡EChoice of environment-friendly materials and manufacturing methods;
¡EChoice of business-partners who share environmental awareness;
¡EUse of energy saving process;
¡EMinimization and recycling of waste.
Our environmental objectives and goals are:

¡EMaximize use of recyclable materials;
¡EPaints and adhesives are free from volatile organic compounds (voc¡¦s);
¡EUse of sustainable wood materials;
¡EKeep away use of materials that produce indoor air emissions.
Our products are considered for long life. Our products have massive
use of materials such as aluminum and wood materials which are
recyclable or destroyable at the end of life. In
2009, we become Member of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC-COC).
Apart from that, our environmental management system is offically
ISO 14001:2004 certified. |
